Serenity at Summit offers a holistic and medically supervised detox program for those who are suffering from drug and/or alcohol addiction. When left untreated, substance abuse can lead to long term physical and emotional issues. Our detoxification program acts as the first step in total recovery from all drug and alcohol abuse and addictions. We also treat the complex mental and emotional issues that arise with clients during detox.

Our personalized drug and alcohol detox program begins with an initial assessment. Within 24 hours of admission into our detox center, Serenity at Summit, our medical and clinical team will assess you, the individual, and your drug and alcohol use. This helps us better determine the best course of treatment for your stay. Because symptoms can vary greatly from person to person, our individualized, comprehensive assessment is critical to your course of care.
After your initial assessments, our team will work with you on putting together a comprehensive and holistic treatment care plan. We believe that successful care includes treating the whole person – mind, body and spirit. We’ve found that when our treatment is holistic our clients can better understand how to integrate wellness into every area of their lives without the need for drugs or alcohol. Throughout your stay with us you will be involved in many types of holistic treatment through daily group and individual therapies. We follow integrative wellness programming, which focuses is on mindfulness and life skills, tailored to help you heal your mind, body and spirit.
Once you have completed your medically supervised drug and/or alcohol detox program, you can safely transition into the next level of care. Because each individual is unique, our recommendations for you will vary greatly. Some clients are ready for outpatient treatment at one of our nearby facilities, while others might benefit from continued inpatient care at our residential treatment facility instead. No matter what your individual needs are, we have a program for you.
