Product and Services

Help your child brush his or her teeth twice daily, from the eruption of the first tooth until their seventh birthday, using a small pea-sized amount of toothpaste. Continue supervising throughout their elementary school years. Around the time of their third birthday, you should introduce flossing at least 2-3 times per week in order to clean between the teeth.

Minimize soda pop and other sweets especially in young children. The enamel on baby teeth is very thin making them susceptible to dental decay when frequently exposed to sugars.Wean your child off the bottle by their first birthday. If children request a drink at night, only allow water. Other liquids including milk, juice, or soft drinks in a bottle or “sippy cup,” bathe the teeth throughout the night in sugars causing cavities, which can lead to baby bottle tooth decay.

Visit the dentist every 6 months for routine exams, cleanings, and x-rays. Early detection of small cavities allow conservative small fillings rather than large restorations or extractions.
