In this class you will learn the fundamentals of mobile and responsive design and create your own web site that will be cross-platform (phone, tablet, desktop) compatible and that will be ready for real-world application.
Photoshop is arguable the most popular image editing software in the market today. Learning to edit images for digital content is a must if you are a designer that designs for other developers or are looking to create images for your own web site.
This class goes way beyond the basics of sizing, cropping, and resampling. You will learn to design on a grid system, work with layers, create navigational bars, and much more.
Product and Services
CSS describes how HTML elements are to be displayed on screen, paper, or in other media. In this class we will dive deep into CSS and teach you techniques to create more elaborate designs and page layouts. You will learn about animations, transitions, and other effects that will allow you to take your web pages to the next level.
This is an intermediate class and does require that you have a basic understanding of CSS. If you are new to CSS we recommend that you take our Web Development Level 1 class prior to taking this one.
JavaScript is an object-oriented computer programming language commonly used to create interactive effects within web browsers.
jQuery is a fast, small, and feature-rich JavaScript library. It makes things like HTML animation, event handling, traversal, and manipulation much simpler that works accross a multitude of browsers.
In this class you will learn the fundamentals of both of these platforms and how to use them effectively. You will also learn how to use plugins which will elevate your capacity to build awesome web sites.
