Mold spores need moisture to grow, and when you have excess moisture building up at a certain location in your house, there's a high probability of mold growth in that area. Usually, mold growths can be found in bathrooms, basements, attics, laundry rooms, and kitchens. Our mold inspector will methodically go through those areas, as well as other places where there can be a significant build-up of moisture.
Active Mold Control also does a humidity level test. Evaluating humidity levels is a very important part of our mold inspection process. We compare the humidity levels inside your house to the conditions outside your house. If the air inside is more humid, your house will likely foster mold growth. Moisture testing and humidity level evaluation aside, we also take on-site samples for further verification.
On average, the whole inspection process should take about 30 minutes. On certain occasions, it may take longer depending on the size and complexity of the area inspected.
