Essex Mechanical Services are a contractor specialising in Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Systems either in new or existing buildings. Our work is primarily in the commercial sector, although a significant proportion is on larger residential properties for individual Clients. We have three main areas of work, supplying pre-designed projects, in-house design from Client’s concept brief through to project completion and providing a planned maintenance for Client’s existing systems and providing ongoing planned maintenance for projects that we have completed.
Based in Colchester, Essex we are an established company with over 40 years experience in the industry focusing on quality and value for money. We pride ourselves on working in a ‘non- contractual’ style: Customer Service is our number one priority keeping to quoted prices and avoiding unexpected extra costs. Mechanical commercial projects encompass an area within an 80 mile radius of Colchester while our Air Conditioning Engineering covers the whole of the UK.
Working to Industry Standards, in addition to our Engineering Qualifications, our engineers are accredited with Construction Skills Certification Scheme cards (CSCS), and are continuously assessed to relevant Health & Safety standards with additional courses undertaken where necessary. Apprenticeships play a key role in the continued aspiration of our Company to develop and we actively train apprentices through our Company to NVQ 3 qualification on day release courses.

Design Services
Our highly qualified and experienced staff can undertake design of all aspects of our services from conception to completion. We are fully qualified to undertake work on Gas, Oil, Air Source Heat Pump, Steam, Air and Water Services. Our projects encompass new buildings, extensions, renovations and existing structures. Using in house CAD design for concept and working drawings giving us the flexibility to accommodate our Client’s individual requirements.
Our industry accreditation qualifies us to provide a first rate professionally engineered project. As well as our on-site fabrication we also have off-site fabrication facilities and all work is carried out by our own dedicated engineering team.
