Saint John Vianney High School in Holmdel, NJ provides a private education with Catholic values.Our school community welcomes you and invites you to see what SJV is all about. Our curriculum is based on the Catholic philosophy of individual growth and development – academically, socially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Saint John Vianney High School works on a 4 x 4 block schedule, which allows our students to be more successful. ParentPortal allows parents/guardians to go on our website and see how their child is progressing in each class. Over 99% of our graduates go on to college and attend many of the most prestigious colleges and universities.

Our school facilities are the finest in Monmouth County! We have 38 acres of developed land that includes our own athletic fields and a “turf” stadium field. We have two gyms, a weight training facility, theatre, over 25 varsity sports and more than 40 clubs that usually meet during lunch to allow students to do after school sports. We have solar energy and a new heating and air conditioning system throughout the school building.

Dual Enrollment courses are college-level courses that allow qualified students to simultaneously earn credit toward high school completion and college credit prior to high school graduation. To earn college credit, students do not need to take any standardized exams at the conclusion of the course; they simply take the course. The grade they earn is the grade they receive on both their high school and college transcript.

At Saint John Vianney High School, our dual enrollment courses are taught in our school, during the regular school day, and by our approved teachers. However, we are exploring the possibility of inviting college faculty to teach the courses at our campus and permitting our students to travel to the college campus during the regular school day to take the courses.

We offer multiple dual enrollment courses, all of which are taught in school by our talented faculty members. Each year, we submit new courses for dual enrollment consideration.
