Product and Services
The Gates is the essence of class 4 technical rafting. If you’re after huge thrills, you’ll find them here, in the foaming cauldron of “Hells Gates”, turbulent birthplace of the Murray River. This narrow gorge descends rapidly between enormous boulders and towering cliffs.
International river guides aspire to test their skills on the awesome technical rapids, providing one of the most challenging trips on the planet. The action starts immediately as you negotiate seemingly non-existent passageways through rock-strewn corridors such as Sharks Tooth, Hole in the Head, Guides Mistake and Himalayan wrap. Rapids comprising of tight chutes, tall drops and immense boulders continue for 8kms.
