As an oil painter, I specialize in painting landscapes that suggest the grandeur of nature. My impressionist style and rich colors invite the viewer to walk into the painting and take part in the scenery around them. I enjoy painting landscapes of places that I has traveled to; I feel that my personal experience coupled with artistic talent create an atmosphere that evokes the true spirit of the country, town or city. A Kate Franklin work of art will constantly bring you back to it’s origin and tempt you to explore beyond the path, so that you will want to visit, again and again…
