Based in Bolton Automatic Alarms have been trading since February 1982. Initially, the business was involved in supply and maintenance of Domestic Intruder Alarm Systems and Commercial systems, with the option of being connected to a British Standards approved 24 hours alarm receiving centre, using Redcare, Redcare GSM, Dual COM GSM or Digital Communicator.

Now Automatic Group has added a variety of additional services within the Fire and Security industry that include installation and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems and Emergency Lighting Systems. We are able to provide insurer approved systems to shops, offices, hotels, restaurants, care homes, industrial units, schools, colleges and universities, multi-occupied apartment buildings, NHS Trusts and breweries.

Our prime objective is total customer satisfaction, we deliver this by providing a bespoke, cost effective and reliable service. We are proud that many of our clients have stayed with the Company from day one and that many local authorities and housing association contracts are still with us after several years. This endorses the Company policy of offering excellent service and value to customers.

We are also able to offer various payment methods including direct debits on maintenance work and leasing on installation work.The Automatic Group includes Automatic Alarms Ltd. which looks after all Fire and Security disciplines and Automatic Maintenance Services Ltd. looking after all the Electrical work.

Over the years we have adapted our services to include new regulations and accreditations required by our Clients. These cover Health & Safety, Environmental, Training and Management monitoring systems to ensure we offer the most up to date professional service possible.

All relevant staff are required to have a Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check for the purposes of protection of any children and vulnerable adults they may come into contact with during the course of their duties. They are also trained to deal with the sensitive issues of equality and diversity.

Our staff are trained and encouraged to maximise the economic lifespan of our customer’s equipment and are not incentivised to condemn or replace equipment needlessly.Recently, the Automatic Group has embraced newer ways of trading, for example; e-procurement and are actively participating with The Northern Housing Consortium, Fusion 21 and other e-procurement sites in the North West of England.

We are proud that many of our Clients have stayed with the Company from day one and many Local Authority and Housing Association contracts are still in place with us over 10 years on. This endorses the Company Policy of offering an excellent service and value to our customers.

Commercial Intruder Alarm Systems

Intruder Alarm Systems have evolved over the years into Building Management Systems and are capable of providing data such as event logging, opening and closing times and verification.Automatic Alarms Ltd supply, install, service and maintain intruder alarms, access control system and exterior detection systems covering the industrial, commercial and residential market place throughout the North West of England.

Security Systems – All systems comply with British and European Standards and the codes of practice of the National Security Inspectorate (NSI, NACOSS Gold). Installations have the option of being connected to a British Standards approved 24 hour alarm receiving centre, using Redcare, Redcare GSM, Dual COM, Dual COM GSM or Digital Communicator.

Exterior Detection – Systems covering industrial, commercial and residential properties. Automatic lighting can be incorporated for added security and courtesy situations.

Automatic Alarms Ltd is a BS EN ISO 9001:2008 Company (Certification No. NAC/G/267) and an approved installer of intruder alarms, access control and CCTV systems (NACOSS enrolment number 1046) abiding by the Council’s rules and code of practice at all times.

All systems conform to BS5839:2002 and are installed to current Electrical Regulations BS7671.
