They are made up of 78 cards in total called the “Arcana”. 22 of these are known as the Major Arcana and 56 cards known as the Minor Arcana.
The Minor Arcana are split into 4 suits, these are Cups, Pentacles, Wands and Swords, each suit runs from Ace to 10 and then has 4 court cards, Page, Knight, King and Queen.
