Additional Information
Air Conditioning Inspections - the legal requirements,Air conditioning indoor ceiling mounted unit,These are commonly called a TM44 report..It is a legal requirment that all air conditioning equipment mustbe inspected every 5 years and within 5 years of a new system being installed. Also, in light of issues of non-compliance with the regulations, Trading Standards officers around the country are now becoming more proactive in their role of checking whether building owners are in possession of reports.
Don't be caught out and risk a fine! Contact energy levels now to arrange an air conditioning inspection and report for your systems.I have my Air Conditioning system regularly maintained. This is not the same as the regular maintenance visit by your maintenance contractor. Rather, this must be done by an independently accredited Energy Assessor. The assessor will issue a report in a government approved format which details the system inspected and gives guidance on improvements that could be made so as to reduce energy consumption or CO2 impact.
energy levels is accredited to provide Air Conditioning inspections and reports. Most people are aware of the need for Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) when selling or renting property. The same Government legislation (Energy Performance of Buildings - Certificates and Inspections - Regulations 2007) also introduced mandatory air conditioning inspections.I'm not selling or leasing my property.Air conditioning inspection is not tied to the sale or renting of a property, but must be done on a regular basis (every 5 years).
Legislation now requires that all Air Conditioning Inspection Reports must be lodged centrally on the Landmark registry (in the same way that EPCs are). This allows more proactive monitoring for compliance checking.
