We provide training and assessment for licence classes Medium Rigid (MR), Heavy Rigid (HR) and Heavy Combination (HC), in both constant-mesh Roadranger and automatics/automated transmissions. We also offer a range of other transport related short courses, such as Fatigue Management, Bus Driver Authority.

Product and Services
Medium Rigid Licence Training and Assessment, Heavy Rigid Licence Training and Assessment, Heavy Combination Licence Training and Assessment.A medium rigid (MR) licence allows drivers to drive any 2 axle rigid vehicle, including a truck or bus and may tow a trailer of no more than 9 tonnes GVM (and within GCM limits). You can also drive a special purpose vehicle with a GVM of less than 15 tonnes (e.g. tractor or bob-tail prime mover).
Drivers upgrading to the HC licence receive up to 10 or 11 hours (depending on the applicants choice of licence restriction) of training and assessment time, for the initial course fee. If additional time is required for an applicant to reach a competent standard, a discounted rate will apply.
In addition to fulfilling the requirements specified in the TLI10 Transport and Logistics Training Package, our training and assessment systems satisfy the RMS requirements for Heavy Vehicle Competency Based Assessment (HVCBA).
Required to remove the licence restriction (Condition B) which prohibits the driver from driving vehicles fitted with constant mesh transmissions.Hold a Heavy Rigid (HR), Heavy Combination (HC), or Multi Combination (MC) licence with Condition B.Drivers upgrading to the HC licence receive up to 10 or 11 hours (depending on the applicants choice of licence restriction) of training and assessment time, for the initial course fee. A heavy combination licence allows drivers to drive any prime mover with a single semi-trailer, or heavy vehicle plus a single trailer greater than 9 tonnes GVM. Automatic/synchromesh and Unrestricted/Constant Mesh gearbox endorsements available.In New South Wales, if you intend to drive a public passenger vehicle including, but not limited to Route Bus, Coach, Mini Bus, and Shuttle Service legislation requires you to have a NSW Bus Driver Authority.
All participants must:Be at least 20 years of age.Hold an unrestricted/unconditional driver licence issued in New South Wales, and have held an unrestricted Australian driver licence issues in any Australian state or teritory for a total of a least 12 months of the previous 2 years.Be an Australian or New Zealand Citezen, permantant resident or hold a visa allowing you to work in Australia.Be medically fit (see details of medical assessment requirements in the information package).
