Welcome to Chris Fidler Garage Services Chris Fidler service cars of all shapes, sizes and manufacturing models. Established 26 years ago, we have successfully delivered time and time again for our customers achieving an enviable reputation.
Chris started working for himself as a mobile mechanic in 1985, rented a workshop in Headley for a couple of years and as he became busier, moved to his present location where he has been trading as Chris Fidler Garage Services since 1986.The garage is in a very convenient position for our customers as they can drop their vehicles off before work and collect them later or pop into town for a few hours.
We enjoy a very good reputation locally and a large percentage of our customers have been coming to us for over 20 years, indeed in some cases new customers tell us "Granddad told me to come here". Nearly all of our new business is by word of mouth and personal recommendation.
We offer a friendly efficient service, repairing and maintaining all makes of cars and vans (up to 3000 kg)using the latest diagnostic and tuning equipment from Bosch and Crypton where necessary.
We are very proud of the reputation that we have for offering a high level of workmanship at a very competitive rate. The only downside to this unfortunately, is that we do get booked up quite far in advance, usually between 7/10 days, so please bear this in mind if you would like us to carry out work on your vehicle.

Our services are available to all private and corporate customers - so whatever you drive, we know your car inside out. Our workshop staff provide the expertise and knowledge that will guarantee a 'first class service' that's second to none.
Car Services
We can service all makes of cars and vans (up to 3000 kg).Whether you require a full manufacturers specification service or a service tailored to your own requirements, we will do our best to meet your exact needs. Please give us a ring for a competitive quote.
Repairs
We have a fully equipped up to date workshop which enables us to carry out all repairs to most makes and models of cars and vans (up to 3000kg). We have the latest Bosch and Crypton diagnostic equipment for fast fault finding. We can also carry out MOT repairs on all cars and vans (up to 3000kg).
MOT Testing
We are a VOSA approved MOT Testing Station with petrol, diesel and catalyst testing machines. We offer MOT’S by appointment only, either drop your vehicle off at your convenience and collect it later or sit and have a coffee (or tea or hot chocolate) whilst the MOT is being carried out, this normally takes about 1 hour for a car or van and ½ hour for a motorbike.
We carry out MOTs on the following vehicles:
Motorbikes up to 200 cc (class 1)
Motorbikes over 200 cc (class 2)
Trikes and other 3 wheeled vehicles (class3)
Cars and vans under 3000kg (class 4)
Should your vehicle fail its MOT we offer a free re-test within 10 working days of the original test.
