Product and Services
A crown, also known as a “cap”, restores a badly decayed or broken down tooth to its natural shape and function, and in the case of porcelain or ceramic crowns, it can also restore the natural look and color of the tooth. A porcelain crown can also go on top of an implant to replace a missing tooth.
Inlays and onlays are a type of filling or partial coverage restoration of the tooth (as opposed to crowns which are a full coverage restoration) made of either resin composite, porcelain, ceramic or metal. The main difference with a regular or standard filling is that the inlay/onlay is fabricated outside the mouth, thus giving it improved properties such as resistance to wear, durability and fit.
