Alpheus Weddings organizes tailor made and package weddings and honeymoons in the Caribbean predominantly in Barbados. It offers a one stop service for its wedding clients providing accommodation and flights (ATOL 9580 ) for the Bride and Groom.Alpheus Weddings is part of the Alpheus Leisure Limited Group of Companies which is a privately owned family company formed in 2005 by Sarah and Emma Killington (nee Rickwood) The Alpheus Leisure group consists of Alpheus Weddings, Alpheus Sports and Alpheus Villas. On leaving University with Degrees in Marketing and Tourism Emma and Sarah spent a number of years gaining experience in the industry before achieving their ambition in the tourism industry to run their own business. Alpheus Villas concentrated on the development of a villa business and soon became one of the leading providers of independent villa rentals. It was also awarded an ATOL licence (9580) enabling it to provide flights and offer protection for packages and flights.Alpheus Sports concentrated on the development of sports events in the Caribbean and sports tours to Barbados encompassing such sports as cricket, hockey, rugby, netball.In July 2007 Emma Killington (nee Rickwood) was married in St James Church in Holetown and had her reception in a beautiful villa at Holders Hill overlooking the Caribbean Sea. This experience was the catalyst for the team at Alpheus to recognise that there was an opportunity to build a substantial wedding business for those discerning clients who wished to have their special day in the sun.Emma Killington (nee Rickwood) then resigned from the business due to family commitments and Alpheus Weddings welcomed a new partner to the business who has a wealth of knowledge in the industry Jacqui Johnson.
Alpheus Weddings has created an all embracing unique service for the ultimate wedding; it is able to use its sister company’s resources – Alpheus Leisure. This enables them not only to provide the client with an ultimate wedding but also with flight travel, hotel or villa accommodation for both the bride and groom and their guests.Call and have a chat with us
Jacqui has been visiting the Caribbean for almost 20 years and has lived and worked in Barbados and other neighbouring islands on high profile events over the years, building excellent working relationships with suppliers on the island. Jacqui comes from a background of working on high end corporate events from start to finish, for blue chip companies, weddings for couples and groups, as well as high profile sporting events such as the Cricket World Cup and the more recent London Olympics.
Jacqui is very creative and enjoys making your event special, whether it’s simple or themed, large or small. Feel free to ask her for ideas on the perfect venue, entertainment, quirky ideas or décor and theme ideas for your event. Jacqui continues to return regularly throughout the year to Barbados for events and meetings with suppliers. She has in-depth island knowledge and enjoys getting involved in local events herself and can give you inside advice on places to go, things to see and experience, activities and even favourite hide-away watering holes.
Jacqui and Sarah have partnered to join their expertise together after working almost parallel in their careers, and are excited about the future…
