Additional Information
Each client at A New Start receives a medical and psychiatric assessment upon admission. This assessment is designed to work with any necessary medical and/or detox needs. We also take into account any co-occurring disorders that may need medical management or continued assessment, monitoring, and diagnosis.
Clients who enter A New Start less than 48 hours since their last consumption of alcohol, drugs, or a combination of both, are placed on detoxification status. Clients are required to meet admission criteria for the detoxification program.
In order to qualify for the detoxification program, they must have a primary alcohol or drug dependency; be an adult age 18 or over; meets the admission criteria to enter the residential phase at A New Start Facility; medically cleared by physician to undergo social medical detoxification; and is not physically impaired in any way that would inhibit participation in the program with or without aid.
Those that would be excluded from the program would be individuals deemed medically unstable as determined by the client’s contracted physician and those unwilling to enter into the rehabilitation phase.
A New Start Intensive Outpatient Center (ANS) is a community dedicated to healing safely. ANS is able to tackle and subsequently relinquish the bondage of addiction through a three-pronged, interdisciplinary approach. Through the use of therapy, twelve-step programming, and neuralrehabilitation, ANS enables clients to succeed and thrive in treatment, as well as the world outside of treatment. ANS thus disassembles the perception that recovery is unobtainable, and concatenates a new life for clients with the ability to prosper.
