Gerardo L Beauchamp DDS - Miami
Gerardo Luis Beauchamp was born in Puerto Rico in 1962. Raised in San Juan, he attended the prestigious Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola, a Jesuit high school. A long-distance runner, a student council member, he fell in love with the girl he would marry 8 years later.
Dr. Beauchamp came to the United States to attend to Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated in 1984 with Bachelors in Science in Psychology, Minors in Biology and Chemistry. He coursed post-graduate studies in Public Health.
In 1989, Dr. Beauchamp graduated from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C with a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.).
He then went to Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach where he completed a hospital-based residency in dentistry. Strong training in Endodontics(root canal treatment), Periodontics(gum treatment), Occlusion(bite analysis), Dental Cosmetics, Oral Surgery and Dental Rehabilitation using Implants.
Dr. Beauchamp is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (F.I.C.O.I.), and a leader in Bone Harvesting and Grafting. He masters Facial Rejuvenation techniques using Botox and Dermal Fillers. He is a member in good standing of several Dental Associations and Study Groups.
Aside from being superbly trained in all aspects of dental rehabilitation, he has a great personality. In 1993, he became the proud father of a baby boy. In 1997, he and his high-school sweetheart were blessed with the birth of a beautiful baby girl.

Gerardo L Beauchamp DDS established by Dr. Gerardo Luis Beauchamp in the year 1997, offers comprehensive dental care to people around the United States-Miami, Florida, with about 10 friendly and most accommodating staffs.
Here at Beauchamp Dental we pride ourselves in training and maintaining our staff. In essence, each member of our team is a specialist in his or her area. Dr. Beauchamp trusts each employee to care for the well-being of our patients. Each person brings a unique talent to the office which proudly runs like a well-oiled machine. Group meetings are held every morning to discuss each patient coming in that day. Each employee knows the reason for your visit and can best anticipate your needs.
Beauchamp Dental opened its doors in Doral in July 1997. A brand new dental facility was designed by an architect to meet Dr. Beauchamp special demands and specifications: a spacious reception area with an open front desk, a private, close-door business and financial desk area, two hygiene rooms, three dental operatories, a surgical room, a dental lab, sterilization area, kitchenette and staff gathering area, and a doctor’s conference office. Beauchamp Dental, an office facility so ahead of its time, it is still “state-of-the-art” almost 20 years later!
Meet Dr. Gerardo Beauchamp, our resident dentist. Dr. Beauchamp was born in Puerto Rico but received all of his higher education in the United States. He graduated Emory University in Atlanta Georgia with a Bachelors in Science in Psychology. Then, he attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington D.C. where he obtained a Doctorate in Dental Surgery. Subsequently, he did a Dental Residency in Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach Florida where he broadly concentrated in all aspects of dentistry as a specialty. He developed superb skills in Periodontics (gums therapy), in Endodontics (root canals), and in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, dentures). His strengths are Dental Cosmetics, Oral Surgery, Bone Grafting and Implantology (placing and restoring dental implants into life-like, natural teeth). Dr. Beauchamp is a Fellow of the prestigious International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the world’s foremost dental implant organization. He is also trained in Facial Rejuvenation using Botox and Dermal Fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane. In all, Dr. Beauchamp is superbly trained in all aspects of dentistry and treats the whole family, from children to seniors.
Meet Dr. Ciro Sotomayor, our braces doctor. Dr. Sotomayor has been with Beauchamp Dental since its beginning in 1997. He places braces on children and adults alike. Trained in Orthodontics, he uses the traditional methods as well as the more modern Invisalign techniques. Our patients benefit from having this specialty treatment right at Beauchamp Dental, thus minimizing referral to unfamiliar dental offices.
Meet Ms. Kenia Reyes, one of our two Registered Dental Hygienists. Kenia-MedinaKenia began working at Beauchamp Dental since graduating Dental Hygiene School in 2000. A top graduate in her class, she quickly took charge of the hygiene department at Beauchamp Dental and adopted innovative ultrasonic instruments which perform dental cleanings painlessly and far more efficiently than traditional hand-scaled methods. Our patients have greatly benefitted from these advancements in dentistry. She greatly values patient education, health promotion and disease prevention.
Meet Ms. Ana María Alonso, our second Registered Dental Hygienist. A dentist by training in Cuba, Ana Maria joined Beauchamp Dental in 2002. She is extremely knowledgeable about everything dental and has proven to be an invaluable asset to our office. She is extremely thorough and professional. She makes sure your gums health is maintained, and she stresses that your needed dental treatment be completed promptly. Our patients love both our hygienists!!!
Meet Vivian Granados, our Financial Coordinator. Vivian has been working with us for over 10 years now. Vivian-GranadosShe is the liaison between our patients and their insurance companies. She makes sure you understand the complex world of insurance deductibles and co-payments. Vivian communicates your treatment plan to insurance companies and obtains EOB’s on your behalf (Explanation of Benefits) so that every aspect of your treatment and its costs can be anticipated without unnecessary surprises. When there is no dental insurance, she clarifies treatment plans and sets up financial arrangements including payment plans if necessary. Vivian is one of our office’s major assets and our patients love her for her dedication and professionalism.
Meet Connie Rodríguez, our Appointment Coordinators. Connie-RodriguezWhen you call our office, you will most likely be greeted by Maria or Connie. Maria handles the Doctor’s appointment schedule while Connie handles the hygienists’. These two lovable ladies will call you on the phone, send you texts and emails, and will keep you informed of your appointment times and schedules. Maria will check your insurance coverage before your visit and will work close to Vivian to keep you well informed. Connie will make sure your next visit be booked. They both will make sure your needed treatment will not be forgotten. You will not “fall through the cracks of the system” because Maria and Connie leave no cracks in our system!!!
Meet Martha Quintanilla, our Dental Assistant since 2004. Martha-QuintanillaMuch more than a dental assistant, Martha is the doctor’s right hand in every way. Not only does she purchases and receives all dental materials and equipment, makes all laboratory work orders, and keeps all training and maintenance logs, she also greets you with a smile at the beginning of your appointment, explains the procedure and relaxes you, assists the doctor, prepares your departure, cleans and sterilizes everything used, and is ready for the next patient before you can call her name. She is a super-woman!
