Progressive Health of Pennsylvania provides community integrated rehabilitation programs that help the survivor of brain injury to grow or survive within the community. We are having 20 years of experience in brain injury rehabilitation. With hundred and forty five staff members and twenty three well maintained houses we are leading brain injury rehabilitation provider in Pennsylvania.
Our rehabilitation services include occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech language Pathology, Neuropsychology and Psychology, Recreation Services, Vision Therapy, Vocational Services, Medical Services, Case Management, Neuropsychological IME’s, Cognitive Therapy and Rehabilitation Services. We provide complete family like environment and 24 hrs supervision for patient’s best treatment.
Progressive Health opened its doors in Milford, Pennsylvania in 1994 with 6 clients and 16 employees. Today we provide services to approximately 70 clients and employ 145 caring, experienced staff members. As Progressive Health has grown, so has our reputation as a provider of quality brain injury programs.
Milford, Pennsylvania is a quaint, historic town with beautiful parks and tree lined streets. It lies along the Delaware River and offers a wealth of recreational possibilities. The area surrounding Milford offers new and growing development with shopping and vocational opportunities.

Additional Information
Our residences are located throughout the community of Milford. No more than 3 clients live in each home, which is supervised up to 24 hour by our staff. They all have their own bedrooms and share the common areas of the home. The homes are comfortably furnished by Progressive Health.
Progressive Health offers a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of the individual as well as a variety of funding sources.Transitional Living: This residential program is offered to those who will be returning to their home community after individualized in-patient, community re-entry program.
Supported Living: This program is offered to those requiring a long term residential stay. A structured daily schedule is created based upon individual needs.Supported Independent Living: This program is available to those who live on their own, but need support. Individual and group therapy is available to them through our out-patient and day programs.
Out-Patient Services: Single services are offered to those requiring specific individual therapy.Day Programs: Programs are offered as full and half day programs. Therapy is provided in group and individual settings, including any or all of the services offered. A structured daily schedule is created to benefit specific needs and goals.
Respite Care: This residential program is short term and based upon bed availability. A dedicated respite bedroom makes scheduling more convenient. Some clients come for a recreational program while others participate in full evaluations and therapies.
Product and Services
Occupational Therapy is designed to maximize clients’ abilities to function in everyday activities of life through innovative, adaptive techniques.Physical Therapy is focused on functional mobility, balance, strength and endurance to maximize home functioning, work and community skills.
Speech Language Pathology focuses on providing improved cognitive and social communication through individual, group and community interventions.Neuropsychology and Psychology in both individual and group settings are provided to increase awareness and improve adjustments to the effects of brain injury.
Recreation Services are offered to improve the well-being of each person through the development of leisure and social skills at home and in the community.Vision Therapy is provided through occupational therapy to improved visual skills using state of the art equipment.
Vocational Services include job searching and job coaching and is offered to all clients interested in attaining appropriate employment or a volunteer position.Medical Services are established throughout both communities by a network of providers that are utilized for complete medical and dental care.
Case Management is provided by a staff nurse who oversees prescribed medications and health management of each client by monitoring an evaluating routine and emergent health care needs.
Neuropsychological IME’s are available through our Psychology Department. Staff members representing the above disciplines come together to form and interdisciplinary team that works together to evaluate each client and create a unique program designed to meet the individual’s specific needs.
Cognitive Therapy: Focuses on restoration and compensation of cognitive deficits through individual and group treatments.Rehabilitation Services:We have a comprehensive team of licensed professionals dedicated to the field of Neurological Rehabilitation. Many members of the rehabilition team have 20+ years of working with individuals with acquired brain injury.
