AKM Fabrications Limited is a leading manufacturer of Roof Safety Products, Rubbish Chutes and a vast range of bespoke metal fabrications. First established in 1985, it is now a successful family business. The company was originally a sheet metal work and fabrication business, but over the last 12 years it has developed a niche in the "working at height" market, these are Evo Safety Solutions. After years of research & development and experience in manufacturing, engineering and site installations, AKM have brought to market the - Evorail and Evowalk systems to provide turnkey solutions to all your Roof.
Maintenance and Access issues. All of Evo Safety Solution's products are manufactured in-house and raw materials locally sourced. We work closely with our suppliers to generate excellent products made from the best materials available. We manufacture a whole range of products; a comprehensive range of Evorail guardrail systems; Evowalk roof top walkway systems; Mobile Man Anchors; Ladders, Steps, Walkovers; Galvanized Steel, Aluminium and Plastic Rubbish chutes in 20", 22"and 30" diameter sizes; Air conditioning stands and Cable Tray Stands.

Evowalk has been designed to be installed on all major standing seam roof systems;
During installation, the combination of Evowalk and our EVS clamp offers a much faster fitment of the walkway, a major cost consideration, particularly a larger installations. The EVS clamp is quick and simple to fit and is non penetrative to the roof, thus validating the roofing manufacturer’s warranty, Evowalk can be affixed across the seams (Shortways) and with the seams (Longways).
Corners and T junctions look aesthetically pleasing with the spaces between the panels being equal on both sections, always allowing joints to have perfect alignment.Composite and Built-Up Roofs,Again, our combination of Evowalk and the EVS Fixing bracket provides a considerably faster installation on site. The EV Fixing bracket is TEK screwed to the I beam and riveted to the roof sheet. The brackets are supplied with a bonded sealing strip on the underside.
Evowalk can be installed across the seams (Shortways) and with the seams (Longways), corners and T junctions look aesthetically pleasing with the spaces between the panels being equal on both sections, always allowing joints to have perfect alignment.
When you’re in a location where it’s not viable to fit a guard rail, Evo Safety Solution’s Mobile Man Anchor provides an easy cost effective solution without compromising safety.
The system splits into pieces which allow it to be easily transported, and is fast and easy to assemble. The centre of the system weighs 20kg and is constructed from galvanised mild steel. This central anchor point is then fitted with 6 or 8 (depending upon type specified) 20kg steel weights onto which 20kg rubber weights are then added.
The steel weights have 5mm rubber protection pads fitted, this prevents any possible damage to susceptible roof surfaces and provides better grip on all surfaces.
Our Mobile Man Anchors have been tested to Standard.EN795.1997 by Satra Technology Centre on the following surfaces in both dry and wet conditions.

Air-Con Stands,Our latest design of Air – Conditioning Stands are much easier to produce and therefore far more competitively priced than before. We have done away with adjustable threaded feet and replaced with levelling shims which are fitted on installation to compensate for any rise and fall in the roof surface.
Ladders and Walkovers,We at AKM have spent over 25 years manufacturing bespoke steel fabrications. We produce Ladders and Walkovers which completely integrate with all our roof safety and access products.
