Southwest Wholesalers was established in 1993 as a one man vending machine operation servicing local business owners in Warwick. The business progressively grew into the distribution of snack foods, drinks, packaging and frozen foods to their product range, supplying quality products into Cafe’s, Restaurants, Service Stations, Pubs & Clubs, Motels & Hotels, Hospitals, Sporting Clubs, and School Tuckshops.2005 saw the introduction of the QLD Government’s “Smart Choices” strategy rolled out in School Tuckshops statewide. Southwest Wholesalers was at the forefront of this change, and proved to be a pivotal event for the company, which was quick to adapt and source quality, healthy alternatives to meet the new guidelines.
Our focus continues to be on supplying the most innovative and healthy products that kids love to eat and drink.Today, Southwest Wholesalers is the largest truly independent, family owned wholesale distribution company based on the Darling Downs, distributing quality products to businesses south to Tenterfield, north to Oakey, east to Ipswich, and everywhere in between.

We now supply over 100 schools in the local region, continuously ensuring that our premium service offering is complemented by a product range that remains fresh and new, while always meeting Smart Choices guidelines. Sporting Clubs & Associations,We all know that a good hot feed and a cold drink goes hand in hand with a day down at the local footy, hockey, cricket, bowls, or soccer club. While we can’t help with supplying ice cold frothy lagers, we do supply just about everything else! From hot food to sport drinks, lollies, chips and ice blocks to all your plastic cups, plates, cutlery and bags and toiletries, we have you covered. Cafes / Restaurants / Hotels,Do you want to generate better margins from your products? We have a wide range of food, drinks and packaging products (some products exclusive to Southwest) at great prices and we will work with you to better diversify your existing product range and increase your overall gross margins with no decrease in quality to your customer. We can also look at providing you with an additional fridge for you to stock our most popular product lines, or just replace existing fridges to allow you to offer your customers the products that they actually want, to ensure they keep coming back again and again.
