Product and Services

Damp Proofing

Rising damp is a common problem in older properties either because no damp proof course (DPC) was provided at the time of building, or because a physical membrane has failed or been 'bridged'. In the majority of cases the provision of a remedial DPC is a cost effective and minimum disturbance option.

Rising damp

Brickwork to some extent has the ability to be porous. In contact with ground and soil will produce moisture. Water can rise up a wall by capillarity through the mortar. Wykamol Ultra Cure silicone cream is used by injection to stop rising damp.

After the installation of a D.P.C. moisture in the wall needs to evaporate. Subsequent re-plastering should be carried out using a salt free sand/cement mix also using an integral waterproofer or a Wykamol Renovating plaster.

Dry Rot

Serpula Lacrymans. Probably better known as a form of timber decay with the ability under the right conditions to grow and spread through brickwork, wood and plaster.

Cellar/ Basement Conversions

Transform that unused basement in your property using the latest waterproofing systems to create a new living space. The extra space a Basement Conversion gives to your home will enhance your life and the value of your property!

Tanking is a cement based slurry or membrane applied to the surface of brickwork. This membrane is applied above or more generally below ground level

Cavity Wall Ties

Were the existing wall ties in a building are showing signs of corrosion. Stainless steel cavity wall ties can be used as an answer to pervent any further movement and give stability to the existing brickwork.
